Lauren + Mohammed
A classic, heartfelt destination wedding at Washington D.C.'s Meridian House with stationery highlighting the wedding venue + location
Lauren & Mo were married July 1st at the Meridian House in Washington, D.C.
I was especially honored to work with Lauren and Mohammed because Lauren had been wanting to work with me ever since she received one of my invitations in the mail as a guest to her former student’s wedding (the biggest compliment ever, right?!). Aimee of A. Griffin Events helped execute their vision for a wedding that would reflect their personalities, their styles, and their values.
Because this was a destination wedding for many of the guests, the couple wanted to highlight the wedding venue and location, so I created custom illustrations of the Meridian House and the D.C. skyline from the bike path where Lauren and Mo like to run together. I kept the rest of the suite simple to complement their clean, classic design aesthetic.
The photos by Liz Fogarty are seriously so stunning! To see more, head over to our feature on Style Me Pretty.
“What you created for us was more than I could have imagined. In a word: it is art. Thank you for creating something even more fabulous than what we imagined. You have made all of our invitation dreams come true!”
