An Autumn-Inspired Editorial Shoot at Edson Hill in Stowe, Vermont

When Sophia from Willow Hill Design reached out to me about this Edson Hill editorial with a mood board to die for, I couldn’t pass it up, even though the shoot was 4 days before my own wedding!

Everything about this editorial makes me feel warm and dreamy: the touches of taupe, gold, and copper; the mixture of clean, modern lines with vintage-y, romantic details; the cake with that delicious lone pear on top…it was so fun to collaborate with a team of new vendors, Sophia in particular, whose aesthetic is just to die for.

We used a warm color palette and raw-edge paper for this shoot to emphasize the natural autumnal elements. Left and right-justified text gave it a modern feel, and the script was written on a slant for an asymmetrical aesthetic..
