Celestine Brooklyn Editorial Shoot

Rich shades of green balanced by neutrals and pops of dusty blue and mauve inspire this intimate editorial shoot with a stunning view of the Brooklyn Bridge.

Celestine Brooklyn is a waterfront Mediterranean restaurant and event space in Brooklyn, New York with stunning views of the New York City skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge, and it was the perfect setting for this editorial shoot organized by Taylor of Hill Event Co.

This shoot took place in August of 2020, during the height of the pandemic when virtually all full-scale weddings had come to a standstill, so the idea of a more intimate outdoor ceremony and small-scale reception formed the basis of this editorial shoot, documented beautifully by Asher Gardner.

The colors of the waterfront view and the lush decor at Celestine inspired the color palette and style board for this shoot. I created a custom pattern in these tones that we used for the envelope liner and menu backers to add a pop of color to each place setting. Such a sweet and stunning reminder that no matter what the size of the gathering, love is always a beautiful thing.
